If sand gets in anything can happen. Did sand get in? We can drill out 6 rollers to utilize all 6 easy enough. I think you should remove the stock snorkle that has the air flow going into the clutch cpver and put a K&N type filter on there.

My son was able to wipe out a front clutch in one weekend at the dunes. Has anyone had good luck
with the clutches living in the dunes? It seems that either only having 4 rollers or the higher than stock (9000+) rpm's make the front clutches unreliable. The little 80 motors are always screaming out in the dunes.

No sand in the clutch at all. The rollers had turned and ground into the clutch.

OK now I am really out of it. I have 2 LT 80's with the same mods done to both. I just pulled the clutches on both machines. One clutch is perfect. The other one I had to pull apart at the dunes and install a new seal ( it was gone) and new rollers. Now after just a couple of rides the rollers are ruined and the seal is starting to rip. What is going on here.
