Good reply gc1008.
Yes the wire screws on and off. You should be able to pick some up at any auto parts store. If there is a motorcycle/quad shop that has Nology wire, get that.
Don't get the stock Suzuki plug tho. Anyone that has raced a LT knows the boot will pop off the plug.
Get NGK part# TB05EMA It also says Stock#8636. This cap uses the round screw on top that is not used on a stock plug/boot and will not fall off thus insuring optimum spark too BR>If there is any racers read this: I still recommend 2 cents of duct tape to insure the boot not falling off.

Before I posted, I went to the garage and took oone out to make sure I/we replied correctly. I used a pair of pliers.
Oh yea,,,PLEASE tap your caps button off. (caps are considered yelling)

I HAVE AN LT 80 THAT THE SPARK PLUG WIRE CRACK AND CAME UNDONE. CALLED THE LOCAL SUZUKI DEALER AND I HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE THING THE WIRE AND THE SILANOID. I CALLED TWO DEALER SHIPS ONE WANTED 160 DOLLARS AND THE OTHER WANTER 94 DOLLARS.THAT IS OUTRAGOUS. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE CHEAPER? OR IS THEIR A WAY TO FIX THE OLD ONE? THANKS FOR ANY HELP

HOW DO YOU GET IN THE SILANOID TO BREAK IT LOSE? THE WIRE LOOKS TO HAVE A PERMANENT FIX INSIDE THE SILANOID BOX.

on most bikes the wire will unscrew. I'm not sure on the LT though. might want to try.If you replace the wire you should by a new boot at the same time . Hope this helps
