I remember having a problem with our pred 90. The problem was the switch assembly on the rear brake lever. I just disabled the switch by splicing the wires together. I can't remember if it would kick start or not.

I bought my son a new Predator 90 last spring and he has had a blast . Other than fighting for riding time with his younger brother everything was going great until this past Fall when the starter went for no apparent reason. He wasn't doing anything unusal and wasn't in any water so I'm really not sure what happened. It kick starts with no problems so that's what he has been doing but it would be nice to get the starter working again. It of course is no longer under warranty so if I can fix it on my own and save the service charge that would be great. Anyone have something similar happen, is it common with this machine and what suggestions can you give me.

My daughter's starter is dragging a little. It's at the dealer being replaced right now (still under warranty). She absolutely loves this thing!

My sons new 04 Arctic Cat 50 had the same problem. The kick starter would work but the starter wouldn't. The problem was the safety switch on the brake lever. Look at it. It pulled out a little. It's worth a try.

The money I have invested in his bikes and quads seems like a $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ bucks!
The money spent on race fees and maintaince on his bikes and quads $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ bucks!
The look on his face when he smokes the whole field in a race,PRICELESS!

You may want to check all fuses, connectors, etc. associated with your Starter.
If it still doesn't work, it's probably your starter motor. If possible, swap in a starter from another Pred-90 before purchasing another Starter motor. Starter motors are around $130 + shipping. Shop around because others may sell it for less dollars.

Hope this helps...
