Is that at Crow's Canyon...? My boy is only 16 month's and I'm already making "MOMMA" bite her nails when we go into the local shop and I happen to walk past a salesman and a 50 at the same time! Coincidence...?

Congratulations on your son's 1st place finish.Looks like he is a hard little charger.My son is also 5 and raced this year for the first time.We got a 7th overall out of 23 entries.I was very proud of him since we were in the 90cc class and alot of the bikes were heavily modded.I was seriously thinking of switching to a 50cc for next year but they have changed the rules and we now have a stock 90cc class so I guess we will try it.I have a question though.What are gribs?

i'm proud of the little guy first of all. my son is 5 years old and finished first in the 8 and under class and 2nd in the 9 to 12 yr old class. they ran a 4 race series at the local track and he won. they also gave out some nice prizes to them . my son got a pair of fox boots, tee shirt, and gribs, for the year end award. now a local bike shop has talk to me about helpping him out with a full race 50 for him next year to run there name . which i had started on one., so now it will save me some money. i dont know whos having more fun him or me watching try so hard

no its at hilltop a new track. i havent had him to crows this year, but next year i am going to try and run the hole AMA or CRA events

lol sorry ,grips. my son also races a 90. he raced against all stock 90s. there were raptor 80s, lt 80s, and i think blazer 90, breeze 110 and a e ton viper.. the DRR 90 held its own . it waz very smooth over the jumps. it didnt bounce at all . i waz very pleased how it ran. good luck to your son next year too
