My dad is looking to buy a Kazuma Meerkat 50cc for my brother. I was wondering if this is a decent quad for the money. We want to stay away from Suzuki and all the name brands becuase they are $1000 more and you don't get as much bike with them. I know the Kazuma is a 4 stroke, elec start, 4 speed auto with headlight. Sounds like a good bike but I don't know anyone with one so I want to know how they are. Please give me your opinion. Thanks
Jim

I have one for my 5 and 4 yr olds. Trust me -- i can wheelie the heck outta that thing in 2nd gear when i lean back and it goes about 15mph with my 200lb carcass on it. It will go about 25 in 4th with a 60lb kid on it. Plenty fast and is powerfull enough to drag me up small hills in 1st....

50cc 4 stroke = no power! If you are wanting a 50 get a two stroke, if you want a 4 stroke get something with more displacement 90, 100.

they are great ATVs, I have one. They go very well and have lots of power. I also have a Kazuma Dingo 150.
