Prairie 650/700 Carb Screws...Tip
Not a question - Just some help for those of you who haven't re-jetted yet:
The Prairie 650/700 float bowl screws (8 total) are M4.0 x 14mm and should be switched ASAP to socket head cap screws verses the OEM phillips heads. Then buy some hex ball drivers so that the screws are easier to remove/install the next time.
The correct size fasteners can be purchased at your local hobby shop believe it or not:
Look for DUBRO brand, P/N 2278
I paid $1.69 for a bag of four. Sure beats the Kawi dealer price of $2.00 each for the phillips head variety that are almost impossible to remove...
The hex ball drivers can be purchased at your local hobby shop also.

- If for some reason they don't have DUBRO brand, just look through their Metric hardware selection and find the M4.0 x 14mm Socket Head Cap Screws.

Prairie 650/700 Carb Screws...Tip
Thanks for the post! I pulled my carbs today.
Most difficult thing was knowing what to do with the choke and throttle stuff. Once I poked around enough I figured it out. Im shocked that one of these sites doesnt have a simple pictorial of pulling the carbs.
I used NYROCS site for the "choke calbe replacement" that helped me with the choke stuff. Then I lifted out the carbs enough to review the throttle setup. Just uncrew the top one and unhook the cable.
