can someone please tell me the stock size of the rims for the 1999 polaris sportsman 500? i don't have it here, and i am looking at getting some tires to fit the stock rims.
ALSO, (may sound stupid) how would i order the tire size if i wanted 26's? (ex: 26x??x?? front and
26x??x?? rear) i am getting spacers too, just need the rite tire for the stock rims. thanks, PB500

 

Sportsman 500 (1999) have 10" rims on the rear and 12" on the front. Actual size should be 25/11/10 rear and 25/8/12 front.

They willl fit, 10 in. on the rear and 12 in. on the front. You may want to check to be sure someone has not changed the rims on your wheeler to 12 in rear like all newer SP500. Just put a tape measure on them.

 

can someone please explain to me the sizes? 26x10x12? 26 is the tires top to bottom (height) is 26 inches? the 10 is tires width???? and the 12 is the rims height?
