650 Gas Mileage.
I know the 650 is a new machine, can somebody who has a few miles on theres guesstimate what kind of fuel mileage it is getting. Also any belt problems, slipping, squealing,or chirping when stopping and starting. With the 6.5 gallon fuel capacity i was hoping for some extra cruising range.Any replies appreciated.

Mine's been pretty crappy so far (I got 50km/30miles) on the first 5 gallons. Of course, it wasn't wound out or anything... just doing the breakin.
No belt problems. The thing has a really nice scream to it when the belt winds up (as you pick up speed). I'm super happy with the unit so far. I only have 3 complaints:
1) Doesn't turn that great. I think those radials are a double edged sword. When you try to corner hard, they roll on rim, and just don't dig in like a bias ply.
2) The shift linkage is off between the gates on the fender and the tranny. I moved it ahead one spline, and it seemed to fix it for the moment, now it seems to drifted back. Something must be loose there......
3) She feels really heavy for the brakes.
But the benefits....
1) Ton of torque! Wow!
2) Awesome suspension. I thought a 700 lb machine would land like a tank, but you can stand her straight up and she lands nice.
3) Fun fun fun!!!!
Ok, I topped up the tank tonight (that digital fuel gauge needs a little slap here and there though!). I dumped in 3-3.5 gallons for that 30 miles I put on it. Last weekend the "reserve fuel" was flashing on the gauge, tonight I have 2 bars left. Who knows. Maybe fuel sloshing in the tank really screws up the gauge or something.......

Makes sense though, since in a car if the back drums aren't set up right, the car feels really heavy when braking.

WILL GET ABOUT 55-60 MILES TO A 5 GALLON TANK I THINK YOUR TANK ON THE A/C IS BIGGER SO YOU GO A BIT FURTHER. NOW THATS IF YOU JUST RIDE NORMAL . START TO PLAY IN THE MUD AND YOU WILL BURN IT IN HALF THE TIME.02 650 PRAIRIEWARN 2500EPI BLACK SECONDARYNAPA #7335K&N FILTERNYROC EXHAUST MOD
