restoring faded plastic
After that much sun fading, it is very unlikely you will be able to polish it down to any deeper color, you are probably left with 2 options- replace it, with new or used plastic (look on ebay) or check places like Maier for replacement plastic. The other option is to have it painted, you will need to find someone with experience painting plastic, but it may cost as much as new plastic. You didn't say what kind of quad it was, so I don't know how much you are willing to spend restoring it.

Plastic Renew is a brillo pad and mp and glow! I wasted some money on it already. It looked ok for a little while so what ou need to do is put some mop an glow on it but it will only make it a shiny pink now. Call maier and get some new ones it should not be more than 200 or so.
However there are some new paints on the market, I have seen some killer paint jobs. Don't know how well they hold up but in the end it will probably cost as much to paint as replace???

I just saw an ad on TV for Krylon spray paint called Fusion, it is supposed to be specially made to bond on a molecular level with plastics, might be worth a try, don't know how it will hold on to a fender, with all the flexing, vibration and rubbing on branches, rocks and such. Could be a cheap spruce up for an old quad that has bad plastic.
