Baja QJ 250 ATV Gearbox
Hello everyone, I have been trying to get this part for over 6 months!
My reverse gear box went out on my atv, the shaft melted and cracked the case and froze everything. It took me weeks to find a supplier that supposedly carried the parts "Parts Yahoo" but after 6 months waiting and having them tell me that it'll only be a few more weeks I gave up and demanded my money back. They still haven't given that back either! I just want to get my ATV working again, I need to find a dealer that has the gear box case or need to change stuff around to get this thing to work atleast forwards...
Now for possible solutions...
-Find another gearbox/transmission assembly that fits onto the engine.
this varies from reverse axle gearboxes to finding something that bolts onto the engine. I beleive the engine is made by ""jianshe" I read once. Model maybe QJ169mm,
-Attach a gear to the output shaft so that I have forward gear
Could find the proper sprocket buy/make a sleeve that fits over the output sprocket and bolt a chain cog onto it. That will deliver power to the rear wheels.
-Find a new or used part to replace my own.
Hope that some insightful member knows where to get these parts.

Engine maybe made by Jianshe or Qianjiang http://www.qjiang.com.cn/
Engine Model maybe: QJ169mm
ATV Model: QJ 250 ATV (qj250)
Problem gearbox (transmission) failure. Very common problem with this ATV.
They say the engine looks like a Yamaha grizzly but that uses a completely different transmission.

PS: Never ever buy a baja motorsports product, they'll stop supporting it and leave you in the lurch. Never buy Qianjiang products (they'll fail and you wont even get a response to any email you send them) Never use a site called www.partsyahoo.com they'll lie to you for months on end and not refund your money.

To get forward working you'll need to find the correct "Sprocket Shaft Extender" find some way to attach it to the output shaft so it doesn't slide, attach the correct sprocket and done. There maybe too much stress to work well, however there might be ways to overcome that.
IF you use this method please post the links, or specs to the parts to make this setup work Im sure alot of us want to know.

Found where they sell these, its EUROPE, its called KEEWAY, they have a few dealers in the USA (they just sell scooters however).
Model: ATV250
KEEWAY COMMANDO
Trying to see if I can get parts over here.
More info:
Motor is a Yamaha Scooter Motor, made by Loncin for Yamaha. ITS A SCOOTER MOTOR! The back part where the transmission goes is actually where the rear wheel of the scooter normally goes. They just slapped a transmission onto it instead and converted it for a ATV. This makes the engine easy to find parts for an the transmission very hard to find parts for.
