1986 TRX250 Fuel Tank

Just picked up a good condition TRX250 Fourtrax. Only bad is tank is toast. Would a plastic tank from the same year TRX250R work? Dont want to spend too much on it.

Go on this site OEM motorcycle and ATV parts from Honda, Yamaha & Polaris – Cycle Parts Warehouse and look at the 2 tanks and see if they look the same.
