Lightbulb YFZ front shocks on my Raptor 250?

So, I was wondering, would front shocks from a YFZ bolt onto the stock a-arms of my raptor 250? I have been looking for suspension upgrades, and this is a low budget solution that I thought up. Any info would be awesome!
Thanks!
Kevin

I would think this is a no go. The shock length itself has to be pretty close to not upset handling, and the 250 frame/a arms are a bit smaller than the YFZ counterparts.

so you think that its the a-arms/frame that holdng me up? Maybe LTR, TRX, or Outlaw shocks?

It seems to me if the shocks are relatively the same length, and wont affect handling they should work... maybe Id have to put it on the sofest setting to compensate for the weight lost...

Scooter gave good advice. the actual length of the shock at rest (not mounted to the A-arms.... just laying on the bench) will be the determining factor. If they are within a half inch or so, you may be alright,... depends on the actual ability to mount, not on the weight they will carry or the adjustability, to know whether they will "work" or not.
