lock'em up when not in use, chain'em down if loaded, try not to leave'em unattended. make it known you're a gun owner and you ain't bashful about it. seriously though, i just use common sense concerning my toys. i don't leave them unattended. they're locked up when not in use. that's about it.

lock it up! Mine is chained to my trailer, which is locked to my hitch right now on my way to canada.

Lock it up is the best. Sadly, if they want it bad enough they'll get it regardless.

Nice little sticker to put by the ignition is "If you can read this, you're in range".

There's also a lock that locks into the holes on the brake disk, and it's real hard to cut. Might not stop them but it sure will look odd someone carrying your quad by the grabbar.

Here's a cheap trick I use for my trailer.

I took a trailer ball and cut the shank off of it. I put this in the coupler and lock it closed whenever it's not hooked up to my truck.

Also something that some people might overlook. If you are going to use a lock on your coupler to secure it to your vehicle, also make sure you use a locking receiver pin. Otherwise someone could just pull the pin and hook it up to their receiver hitch.
