Default Flashing wrench on dash

Does anyone know what a flashing wrench on the dash means. I do not have the owners manual for my 04 sportsman 600, or a repair manual yet.

Means nothing. I believe you can set the number of hours till your next tuneup. Sort of like a timer...

If it just flashes when you first strart it and quits after a few seconds it is the service indicater, if it stays on there is a code and something else is wrong.

im not shure on the older ones. but if i rember on my 08 it has to be in neutral. turn the key off wait 10 sec.

set the parking brake. and shift into neutral

hold reverse over ride button as you turn on the key switch to on

release the override switch as soon as the display is active.

then scroll thought the menu with the yellow override button.
