my friend has a ranger hd and just got tracks for it. he has broke both drive arms and the power steering arm does anyone have any ideas on what going on with this

 

It's a very similar setup to an ATV.....What do you mean, "broke both drive arms"? This sounds like abuse. Is he running into logs, or running fast down a stream bed and pounding up the other side? Not likely, but gotta ask. Can't even imagine what he's done. Maybe he has them on backwards, or never installed the stabilization kit.

Did he buy the tracks from a dealer? The tracks and the stabilization kit are two separate animals, with different directions and packaging, costs. Did he buy and correctly install the stabilization kit?
