Paiute Trail
Welcome, I am new a couple months back. My family and I have ridden in Tennesee at Coal Creek twice. You are blessed to be in TN wild place to ride, fewer rules, had a great time. We are from RI. Been to the Paiute trail 3 years ago. I am not aware of a list of where 60's can and cannot go. They have these gates to keep live stock in, you ride up and down a metal gate with side railings and if you are to wide you are not getting through. They have a book you can buy about the system, I would recommend it. There map is very thourough too. The topo and terrain is nothing like out here. The whole system is very ATV friendly, it is there economy out there. We stayed at Lizzys and Charlies campground in Marysvale, UT. There are several big towns to start from. You can visit some small towns but they do not have much such as gas and food. I understand you can ride the main trail for 24 hours straight to ride just the main trail, be prepared for different weather too. We went in august and it was over 100 in the valleys and 70 in the mtns, we hit a lighting storm and flash floods be prepared for safety, food, water and scenery you will never forget. Oh make sure your carb is set for high altitude. I could go on and on!
