Default New guy with a '98 Quadrunner 500 4x4

Picked up a Quadrunner 500 4x4 this weekend as a project. Paid just a few hundred bucks for it under th impression it doesn't run, but as it turns out it'll fire and run. needs a good tune up, probably needs the valves adjusted. Its ugly and the 4wd needs some parts to work.
I think it'll be a fun project and even more fun when its finished.

Anyone know where I can find an owners manual for one.
I just need simple info like: oil, plug part nuber and gap, and other maintenance items. I'll probably break down and buy a Clymer manual too.

looking at parts microfiche online, different models show up:
W, X, Y, K1, K2
I assume K1 = 2001 and K2 = 2002, is this correct?
How do you tell which one you have?
VIN number? BTW where are the VIN numbers marked on ATVs? On motorcycles they're usually on the neck

Haft the time those letter just mean its color. The mechanics are the same. The Vin is in the frame usually low by the foot rest.
