Yep I have the same howling. What dealer has serviced some of these rear ends because my dealer has heard of no one having rear end problems. Had somebody drive slow and I can feel and hear the cv joints popping in there. Just ****es me off because I took a half day to go up there and get it checked only to be told I'm hearing things.
Did they just take your word for it and tear into it or could they see something wrong? Where can I find the bulletins on this stuff? Its going back up there soon as I get time. I ordered one of those infrared temp sensors, good tool for bearrings and what not, so anything above 180 on the rear case would be too warm? Thanks for all the info.
