Measure the voltage on the starter motor power lug while the solenoid is "clicked". It should be 11 to 12 volts. If not follow it back through the solenoid to the battery itself. You probably have a bad connection somewhere such as a bad wire crimp in the heavy gauge starter motor wiring. Also make sure that the battery minus terminal ohms out to engine ground (should read zero ohms, the same as when the two ohmmeter terminals are shorted together).
