Is this something I can do on my own?. Have air tool's. Stock clutch with ? clutch kit springs. Not sure which color. Most of our hard riding is with my 30lb son and my 180lb body on this thing. I did notice it has a large yellow ( torque spring?). It goes about 10 foot then hang on. My 5 year old rides alone, thet's when the adjustable cdi comes in! Can keep it out of the powerband as she only rides around the property at this time.
Both children are really enjoying the atv thing, lol, so is dad
What screw are you talking about?..There is a 15 or 17mm headed bolt that will release the outer part of the clutch and you can remove it off of the shaft..After that the clutch shoes have a huge nut (39mm) that hold them together under spring pressure..You need to be holding it together so you can release the torque spring pressure gently after you remove the nut..IT's best to have two sets of hands if your a rookie and don't have a special tool...
