Default reverse override bypass/newer sportsmans

this is for the new style mode type speedometer so you can still use it. i have been asked about this a couple of times so i thought i would post it on top for awhile. hope it helps a few.

ok i went down and took a look on how i have my bypass hooked up w/ a switch. you need a switch on the speedos which has the scrolling thur the dianostic modes. the grey wire w/ the orange tracer and the brown wire are the 2 wires that need to be hooked up to the switch to turn off and on the override. what i do is when im going to be in the mud or want to back up faster, i just flip the switch to the overrdie mode and then back again. warning each time you leave it in w/ the switch on it will scroll thur the speedo ex. time, mph, trip, and so on every time you go from reverse to drive but its no big deal. hope this helps. oh btw, the same wires are on the 400 HO as well and most likely would work for that as well but i havent done it on that bike.
