Just bought 87 warrior some ?? please.
Hi, I just bought this warrior and need to order a manual, but in the mean time I need to drain the oil. What is the capacity , and what oil should I use? Also this has new razr tires on it, any idea what to set the front and rear tire pressure at? Also where can I get a rear fender mounting clamp.
Thanks for any info...

Get a clymer manual - best $30 your will ever spend on your warrior. Its just as good as an OEM one and less than half the cost.
Oil capacity is probably the same as my '88 - ~2.5 quarts. I use the Valvoline ATV 10w-40 oil you can get at any parts store like Advanced or Auto Zone...just as good as the yamalube IMO....and cheaper. I have dunlop KT335 on the rear and the matching KT331s on the front. I run 6psi in the rear...can't recall the front pressure....but probably around ~8psi. As for the mounting clamp, you may have to go back to a dealer. These warriors are no doubt great quads...but sometimes finding aftermarket parts for the older ones gets a little tough. Hope this helps.

Be careful with the stupid fist sized drain plug and crazy spring...... The drain plug is spring loaded and you have to watch that you don't lose it..... It also makes it fun to put the drain plug back in because you have to compress the spring as you screw it back in.....Oh yea and the HUGE drain plug will dump the oil so fast that you are bound to get it all over your hand and probably miss the collection tray altogether.........

Congrats on getting a warrior. Definitely go with a clymer manual, use the crap out of mine. For oil just make your that it is motorcycle oil that is WET clutch capable. On the air pressure, I start with looking on the tires and see what they say to running pressure is and add or subtract according to how you like them. I run mine about 6psi. Any parts that you need I would always start with ebay and search from there.
