The trailer in the picture that Jeffin posted is very similar to the one that I am going to build. The difference being a removable tongue, and instead of having a solid deck I have 2 heavy duty mesh panels that will allow any mud to fall through. The mesh is made of 1/4" steel rods that are a screen with the opening size of 1-1/2". It bites having to wash off the quads and then have to clean the trailer as well. My dad came up with them from a friend that has a hog confinement business and they use them in some form there. They are brand new, powder coated, and very strong. They measure 4' X 7' each. I won't have the mesh over the axle, just under the quads. I think it will make a great trailer, all for under $600.
