I'm in need of a trailer as ramping my 2007 Predator on the back of an 8' pickup bed is getting old. I was looking at getting an open trailer with the treated wood deck 6'x14'. After measuring my current Predator 6'L x W3.75' and getting the measurements for my "wish list" Sportsman 800 EFI (6.91'L x 4'W). Hoping to get the Sportsman in July or August $$.

I also would like the trailer to double as a Snowmobile trailer in the winter. No, I don't have a snowmobile yet but that is another on my wish list. Looking at the size of the 2up touring those jokers are large 10.7'L x 4' wide. I guess I can only get one on with 4' of free space.

With all of the about said has anyone ever used the trailer with the side ramp? My thinking is that I must move up to a 7'x14' with the side ramp. That should allow me to drive the proposed Sportsman on the side ramp which will place it horizontal at the front of the trailer leaving about 7'x10' for the Predator. 1' doesn't seem to be enough to drive the Predator up the side ramp and moving it to the left by 4+ feet (without muscling it over) to allow the Sportsman to drive up the ramp - which in turn would leave about 4'x7' for another small ATV?


It just appears as though I will need to use muscle to make any solution work??

Any suggestions?
