Default Buy a 2004 Honda TRX250EX Sport Trax?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2004 TRX250. From my research it's a good beginner ATV. It's stock and in pretty darn good condition. The normal scratches on the plastic. Tires in good shape. Low hours. Properly maintained. Not abused. Has a title.

He wants $1,600 for it. Plus, he'll sell for $1,150 if I give him my Glock handgun which was appraised at less than $450.

I'd like to dump the Kazuma 110cc my daughter has and replace it with this Honda.

What do you think guys, should I go for it?

I say yes, you're getting the reliability of a honda for a really good price. You probably wont miss your gun any.

WOW. that seems really cheap. I'm thinking about getting the same type and they want like $2500 - $3000 around here. I say go for it!

I thought it was a good price too.....picked it up over the weekend.

It had old gas in it, so I drained the tank, removed the carb and cleaned it, put it back together and went riding!

It took a while to warm up, but it was also 18 degrees out too.

I just need to find a service manual for it now since I would like to change the plug.....want to make sure it has the correct plug in it and I don't know what the exact gap should be.

Thanks for the advice guys!
