I guess I should add that it has a new battery, fuel and plugs. It cranks but just has no spark.

easiest thing to start w/ is to make sure there isnt any part or wires that chaffed and is grounding out. so i am assuming that is turning over good where you posted it cranks.

Check under front panel,If you have the DUCATI coil pack that says made in Italy probably the cause if you have no spark! They are bad about going out! Best to check out stator just in case, but from my experience I havent had any bad stators just bad combo coil/cdi units.Replacements are supposed to be improved?

great thanks for the help. this has got me pulling my hair out! It has alway ran great. just to let you know.....it shut off on me a few times before this. I was riding and everything was going good then its like someone just shuts the key off. then it progressed to no spark at all.

I dont know of any after market suppliers, but wouldn't hurt to check around. Check stator and any loose wiring before you order parts, just to be on the safe side!

hey old polaris tech? So I called a few dealers to find out the pricing on a replacement coil and a couple of them said that they would lean more towards a stator than a coil. Any Ideas before I spend money or would you replace the coil first?
