Which Chinese ATV manufacturers build the most reliable, best handling ATV in the 200-400cc range? I have seen prices range from $900 - $2500 among the Chinese makes. Are there any particular re-sellers out there that have good customer service? Which ones should I avoid?

If anyone has an ATV like this please tell me about your experience.

 

I would trust a 20 year old Yamaha Moto 4 with 10,000 miles on it before a brand new Chinese ATV with a life time warranty. Unless you live in a community thats void of used ATVs in your newspaper classifies thats the root I would take.

As far as Im concerned Jetmoto is the best quad coming from China.

I would avoid anything selling on ebay unless your great with wrench, and maybe a welder. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I did some more digging and found www.racewayatv.com is a major seller for the Jetmoto brand. There were several posts out there from people that seemed satisfied with this dealer. I may try them out.

 

buyer beware....have known several people that bought chinese quad and when they broke they had a hell of a time getting parts. bad resale also. have you considered buy a used big brand quad? i dont know what size you are looking for but you chould find a nice used big brand quad from about the same price as a new chinese quad. the honda ex series quads are all very good and have outstanding resale valve.

 

My buddy has two Jetmoto's sitting in the rain in his back yard...he is junking them! Lasted less than a year and can't get parts.....

You are way better going used from an established manufacturer, where you can go to a dealership and actually get some parts!

Are you buddy's Jetmotos older models? What kinds of problems did he have? I understand their quality has improved in the past couple years.

 

I agree with TLC, bigned, and recon. Do yourself a favor and get a used name-brand quad or a new one if you have the money. I have heard all the horror stories of breakdowns and part availability problems from several who thought that they were saving money. Its not all that tough to call a Toll Free number and get a couple of parts.

 

My old boss hada chinese atv and it broke quite a bit and took a long time to get parts. They finally bought a name brand and haven't had as many problems.

I bought a used brand name and its awesome.
