Does anyone have information on an Hsun brand ATV? I live in North Texas and went to their distribution center in Carrolton. They had a few ATV's set up for viewing. Several had the Yamoto brand name on them. They had a few with the Hsun brand name on them. One of them really grabbed my attention when I saw the name Subaru on the motor! It was a really cool Sport Quad.
Here is a link to the one with the Subaru engine:

The reason that I'm asking about the HSUN brand, is that they had the Yamoto brand 110cc in their showroom for $700. He said that they were not making these for Yamoto any more and that they were releasing the same machine under their own brand name. He said that HSUN was the manufacturer.
I can't find much of anything about them on the internet.

The dealer you spoke with is telling the truth about the ATVs. Chongqing HuanSong Industries (Group) Co., Ltd. is the Yamoto Manufacture. Here is the original Yamoto U.S. Distributor. Shinima (a.k.a.Yamoto) Shinima sold the Yamoto name to Patriot Motor Corporation. Patriot dropped the Yamoto name after they got sued by Yamaha.
As far as which Chinese quad to purchase for your little rider is going to be up to you. The quads are all going to be similar in looks and quality no matter which brand or manufacture you purchase from. What you really need is good dealer support, and that dealers name is Raceway. Raceway carries the Jetmoto and Kazuma line for smaller riders. They even carry Unison if your looking for a little better quality quad over a Chinese model.
If you can trust the dealer that is selling the 110 for $700.00 and he can prove to you he stocks parts, then I would say go for it. The 110 is a decent dirt quad. If your looking for a sand quad a two stroke would probably work best.
Good luck with your purchase.

smb05, thanks for the reply. I'm gonna go back and talk to the guy at the warehouse again and see what he has to say about parts availability along with a request for an impromptu tour of his supplies. He told me that I would bring it back to him for warranty issues. I forgot to take it to the next logical question, 'do you sell parts to the public and are they readily available'. One thing that I discovered while searching for HSUN on the 'net, was that Boreem (BMS) has what looks to be the same atv in the 110cc size. So parts may be easier to come by if it shares its design with another brand.
