ways to make a prairie 360 faster
The P360 has been discussed several times on this forum as people have attempted to gain speed and/or power from it. A search will turn these threads up.
I have a 360 and after reading these threads have come to the conclusion that to gain much at all in the way of speed you have two options.
1. Trade it in for a really fast quad.
2. Push it off a cliff.
I bought my 360 primarily for work and some trail riding. It excels at both of these for my uses and I have no intention of loosing reliability trying to make a race rig out of a basic ute.
In all seriousness I would read the threads carefully and analyze the cost and return of any modifications.

If you can get any more top end it isn't going to be much but if you want better throttle response like me I've read about a couple of things you can do.
1. Jet the carb-150 Main-38 Pilot - .60 needle shim
2. Get an advance timing Key ( I'm about ready to get one for mine) www.700v.com
3.The best thing it seems you can do is put in a EPI Black Secondary Spring in. www.erlandsonperformance
I wanted to get a pro circuit exhaust for mine but haven't yet. What do you think of yours? Did you get the 496 or the T-4? I'd really like to see what you think of it.
If you want better handling Elka makes a front strut kit that sells for $345 (another item on my wish list)

I have a T-4 on my quad and it gives maybe like a little more horse but not much. Its realy loud compared to the stock.
If you like it loud it would be good for you and also you can always change your pipe to the stock when ever you want thats what i do.In the winter i plow so i keep the stock on but in the summer i put the T-4 on.
But your going to have to buy a new clamp or bend the stock because the stock clamp doesnt fit over the T-4 but its not a big deal.
I realy like it alot its worth it if you want a little more horse and you like it being loud i would look into buying it for yourself.
also pro circuit sell packing for the pipe to reduce the noise. I think thats like a $100 bucks im not sure though.
thanks for your help if you have anymore questions about the T-4 im happy to help you.

The T-4 sounds cool. Is it so loud you can't ride on game lands and would it really **** the neighbors off? Also did you get it from pro circuit or from a vendor and how much was it?

Umm its not that loud that it would **** the neighbors only if you pinned it around your yard alot they mite but not if you just do it randomly they won't.
i got my pro circuit from my dealer and it was i think $375 the same as pro circuit.com so i think it don't mater where you get it.
