ATV wash stations at HMT?
I am going to be staying in Pineville WV and riding the pinnacle trail system. Are there any wash stations close by to clean off the muck. In SC most car wash stations have signs posted that you may not clean off atv's or dirtbikes. I have even known of someone getting a ticket for washing there bike anyway down in the Charleston area.
Thanks,

couldn't help but respond when i seen that you mentioned the hatfield mcCoy trails. want to tell you a story about my trip. making it short here is what happened. went to one of the trailheads, paid for permits etc. asked the ranger about helments since it was July and very hot. he said out of sight out of mind. when we got out of his sight we removed our helments, he circuled around and began to write us up for not wearing our helments. the same ranger! It cost us $160.00 that is my last trip there. check this trail system out. harlancountytrails.com also harlancountycampground.com very nice place to ride and camp. you can ride anytime. not the rules like h&m only rule i know of is helments. i wear one now!

Thanks, I appreciate the information but I have way to many ugly scars and lingering pains that still haunt me from not wearing proper protection in the past. I may ride burning up from wearing too much but I never ride anywhere without my helmet, riding boots, kidney belt and gloves. I ride with a lot of diffrent people and not everyone is a believer like I am about safety. Maybe they need to carry a few scars themselves (If there lucky.)
