I posted a link to some specs in the Sport Quads forum....But to answer one of your questions, according the website, stock carbs were Mikuni Vm38ss carb..

My dad has one sitting out in his garage...he NEVER rides it! He bought it new (I believe in the late '70's) and rode it alot but since he got his banshee he never rides it...the last time he rode it was when I was a kid (well over 5 years ago). I can find that info if you want...I'll post back...

Ok, the carb is a 38mm and the stock jet sizes are 370 main, 50 pilot, and Q-2 needle. The model number is VM38SS made by Makuni. The carb is fairly big too but it should fit on a Blaster, I know someone who used a carb off of an LT250 and it worked great also! Hope this helps and good luck with gettin it workin!

How would that hook up to the air box. i think i would need to remove and run a straight clamp on, or modify the box somehow so that the carb will fit. The 26mm on the blaster now fits in there just snug. I cant see a 38mm fitting at all.
